Don't Hide Your Light Under a Bushel Basket!

You've got stories;
tell them and enlighten those not fortunate enough to have served
in the U.S. military. Veterans
and veteran groups are invited to participate in a video history
project with the goal of capturing insights and experiences of those
who have served our country. Individuals
may also wish to sell their stories to interested distributors,
such as The History Channel.
Step 1 -
Questionnaire: Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire
providing basic biographical and service career information. The
purpose of this is to allow for proper research and preparation
for your interview. Vets will be given a privacy policy that says
the information is never to be shared or sold.
Step 2 -
Schedule Interview: A time and location will be determined based
on the number of participants. Individuals may wish to be interviewed
at home or a number of people from one organization may want to
use an office or museum. The time for each interview may vary, but
should average about 2 hours. Groups can expect to capture 4-5 interviews
per day.
Step 3 -
The Interview: Before the interview, both parties will sign
an interview agreement which will confirm the resulting footage
and all rights will remain the property of either you, the individual,
or the participating organization.
Though you will
be guided through the interview with questions from the previous
questionnaire, you will be given the opportunity to discuss at length
anything you feel is relevant, including your experiences before,
during, and after your service.
The goal is
to create an authentic, uncensored record of the veteran's experiences.
You will receive a copy of the entire unedited interview as well
as a professionally edited version of the interview.
Interested veterans
or veteran organizations should contact Gabe Golden, Next Level
